Research Use Only (RUO) Agreement

This Agreement applies only to products classified as Research Use Only. It does not apply to products classified as Cosmetic or Wellness.
1. Purpose & Scope
This Research Use Only (RUO) Agreement governs the purchase and use of products classified as Research Use Only by Cyan Sky Wellness Research. By purchasing, receiving, or handling any RUO product, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Agreement.
2. Definition of Research Use Only
Research Use Only products are materials offered solely for lawful laboratory, analytical, educational, and/or in vitro research purposes. They are not intended for, and may not be used for, human or animal consumption, injection, ingestion, administration, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Authorized Purchaser
You represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years of age and are a qualified purchaser authorized to acquire and handle research materials in your jurisdiction.
4. Permitted Use
RUO products may be used only for legitimate laboratory, analytical, educational, and/or in vitro research purposes by qualified individuals in appropriate research settings.
5. Prohibited Use
RUO products may not be used for human or animal consumption, injection, ingestion, administration, diagnosis, treatment, or any clinical or therapeutic purpose. They may not be resold or redistributed for any non-research purpose.
6. No Medical or Therapeutic Use
No information provided by Cyan Sky Wellness Research constitutes medical advice, dosing instructions, treatment recommendations, or instructions for human or animal administration. Any scientific information presented is for educational and research-context purposes only.
7. Handling, Storage & Disposal
Purchasers are responsible for the proper handling, storage, and disposal of RUO products in accordance with their labeling, the accompanying documentation, and all applicable laws and safety standards.
8. Regulatory Compliance
Purchasers are solely responsible for ensuring that their purchase, possession, handling, storage, and use of RUO products comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.
9. No Warranty / As-Is
RUO products are provided “as is” for research purposes. No warranty is made regarding their suitability for any non-research purpose, and no COA, purity result, or identity result indicates FDA approval or that a product is safe or approved for human or animal administration.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyan Sky Wellness Research is not liable for any damages arising from the handling, use, or misuse of RUO products, including any use inconsistent with this Agreement.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cyan Sky Wellness Research from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of RUO products or your breach of this Agreement.
12. Right to Refuse or Cancel
Cyan Sky Wellness Research reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order when the stated or apparent intended use is inconsistent with legitimate research purposes or applicable requirements.
13. Acknowledgment
By purchasing an RUO product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Research Use Only Agreement, and that your purchase is solely for lawful research purposes.
14. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. The version active when you place an order is recorded with that order where technically practical.
